Our Philosophy

Poderi Sanguineto is a winery whose strength comes from its bond with tradition.
Aware of the strength of this bond with the land, we dedicate our energies to caring for and respecting the vineyard as a living creature, fostering the natural growth cycle of the vines without any type of invasive intervention.
The vineyard neither uses systemic and antifungal products, nor any exaggerated fertilisation or preventative treatments, intervening only when diseases appear by using only sulphur and copper.
Certainly this process makes cultivation of the vineyard more difficult and demanding, but it ensures the realisation of a product that respects nature and the territory.
All production processes adopted in the winery are oriented towards the utmost respect of the wine-making tradition, beginning with natural fermentation of grapes from autochthonous vines through aging in large oak barrels.
The utmost care for the product and respect for tradition are dedicated to the production of one of the wines considered emblematic of Italian production, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
